"Hawk, Not overtly outed on LST

Hawk not outed by Edd Hendee

Edd Hendee took the moral high road today after a weekend of speculation as to the true identity of "Hawk" over on Lone Star Times. However in a little bit of slight of had David "I love a good discussion" Benzion, posted several links and other information about Hawk and let the members of LST come to their own conclusions.

This is what Edd did reveal about Hawk

  • Hawk is a woman.
  • Hawk is the wife of a prominent Republican elected official
  • Hawk is active in politics
  • Hawk is not a friend to KSEV
  • Hawk has been highly critical of Edd, Paul, & Dan in the past
  • Hawk’s husband did NOT receive CLOUT’s endorsement in his most recent campaign
  • Now what was released by David

I will add simply this– Hawk has also posted under the pseudonym "Cowgirl," and in addition to their most recent accusations against Edd, I consider comments made in the following threads by Hawk/Cowgirl to be equally disingenuous and worthy of dismissal.

  • Cowgirl commenting on post "Chron bemoans Texas tort system ranking"
  • Hawk commenting on post "Patrick already making presence felt in Austin"
  • Cowgirl commenting in this "Weekend Open Comments Thread"
  • Hawk’s registration with LST has been eliminated.
  • All of this is well and good, however when contacted the spouse of this "hawk/cowgirl" claimed to not know what she was doing. If that is the case then he has his head further up his own backside than most lawyers/politicians normally do.

All signs lead back to one of Dan Patrick's opponents in the primary for State Senate District #7 Houston's own Joe Nixon, and his wife, Allyson Nixon. Now if this is true then there is no doubt that Allyson has greater ambitions than that of her husband, but lacks the moral fiber to stand up and accept defeat, or at the least admit that she was wrong. It also leads to the question of what Allyson is actually telling her husband. If she kept this a secret and it never came up that she was an active commentator on Lone Start Times, I feel sorry for Joe.

What this really comes down to is was Allyson acting alone or in some way with others. I personally think that she was acting out of spite and anger towards those that have stood up and said no more to the lawyers writing the rules. That have said that it is time for a change, that we need a new voice in Texas State politics. A voice that is not bound to the good ol'e boys network. Someone who talks and speaks up for the voters and is not in it for future advancement. The revolution is on in Texas and it started with State Senate District #7. The sad thing is Allyson Nixon is having a hard time realizing that her golden goose is dead.

We need more people like Dan Patrick to step up and take on the incumbants and force them in the primaries to go on record with what they believe. Then we can find the hoe that Fred Hill is always talking about and kill the snake when it means the most.

Allyson Nixon, I really feel sorry for you.
