1) Not at all surprised that the Republicans lost both houses of Congress, they deserve it after ignoring the hue and cry from the red states on issues like border security, clarification of the War on Terror, and the fact that they were acting like liberals.
2) Texas and Houston elections did not suprise me much. Came out about how I felt they would, and now we get to see if Perry, Dewhurst, and Cradick have heard the message that we are not happy campers.
3) I really think Perry's future in politics will hinge upon what happens in the next session of the Legislature. He works to get things done then he will see his stock rising, other wise he just needs to finish out his term and retire to local politics.
